We have completed the installation of three galvanized silos as part of the expansion of a feed mill in Fuente Obejuna (Córdoba). This new installation increases the plant’s storage capacity and improves the management of raw materials within the production process.

The project has been carried out at a facility with a long history, where a previous installation was completed around 20 years ago. This expansion reinforces the existing infrastructure and allows the plant to adapt to current production needs.

Silos designed for integration with handling equipment

The installed units correspond to model 3.05/4 with a 60º cone and 420 inlet, a configuration designed to ensure smooth product discharge and seamless integration into the plant’s material handling system.

A notable feature of this project is the incorporation of side supports specifically designed to accommodate a loading redler conveyor. This design allows the conveying system to be installed directly over the silos, optimizing the flow of raw materials within the facility and simplifying the connection with the rest of the plant’s mechanization.

On-site assembly

The project included both the supply of the silos and their complete mechanical assembly on site, ensuring proper integration with the existing installation. Thanks to their modular design and the quality of the materials used, these silos provide a robust and durable solution for storing feed and other products used in animal nutrition.

With this expansion, the plant strengthens its storage infrastructure and improves its operational capacity—key factors for maintaining efficient and reliable feed production.
